In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Bosco expressed his feelings honestly. He said he wished Janhvi had spoken about his work during the promotions but added that it was okay if she didn’t realize the importance of giving him credit. He highlighted how choreographers often don’t get the recognition they deserve because the spotlight usually stays on the stars who perform the songs on screen.
Bosco explained that choreographers invest a lot of effort, time, and creativity to make songs successful and memorable, yet their contributions are frequently overlooked. While actors and singers receive the applause and media attention, choreographers sometimes remain invisible, even though their work plays a crucial part in bringing the song to life.
Despite feeling overlooked in this instance, Bosco recalled times when his work did receive recognition. He mentioned actor Vicky Kaushal’s appreciation for his choreography on the song “Tauba Tauba” from Bad Newz and how Hrithik Roshan credited him for a special step he created in the film Mission Kashmir. These moments of acknowledgment are important to him, as they show the value of choreographers behind the scenes.
Bosco’s comments shed light on the challenges choreographers face in the film industry, reminding audiences and stars alike about the creative talent that often goes unnoticed but is vital for the magic of cinema.
