Bhansali Productions officially announced in April that Love & War will arrive in cinemas on January 21, 2027, positioning it around India's Republic Day period. The film is scheduled to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The project had originally been announced in January 2024 with a Christmas 2025 target. Its release subsequently moved through different windows before Bhansali Productions settled on January 21, 2027.

Ranbir, Alia and Vicky remain the three officially announced principal stars.
