Mumbai, May 16:Actor Janki Bodiwala, known for her role in the Gujarati horror film Vash and its Hindi remake Shaitaan, recently shared a surprising behind-the-scenes detail from the original film. During a roundtable conversation with Filmfare, the actor revealed that director Krishnadev Yagnik had asked her if she would be willing to urinate for real in a pivotal scene to enhance its authenticity.

Bodiwala, reflecting on the unconventional request, said she agreed because of the director’s commitment to realism and the intensity of the scene. “I said yes because of that,” she added, highlighting her dedication to the craft and the immersive experience of working on a psychological horror project like Vash.

The scene in question was critical to the emotional and psychological weight of the film, which earned widespread praise and led to its Bollywood adaptation, Shaitaan, where Bodiwala reprised her role.
