Two Cups, One Cabin: Did Harshvardhan Rane and Sanjeeda Shaikh Just 'Soft Launch' Their Romance?

Are they or aren’t they? That’s the question on every Bollywood fan's mind this week as actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sanjeeda Shaikh have sent the internet into a complete frenzy. If you love a good old-fashioned Instagram sleuthing session, grab your magnifying glass because the evidence in this rumoured romance is piping hot.  

The Pune Photo Dump That Started It All

It all began when the Sanam Teri Kasam star and the Heeramandi actress took to their respective Instagram accounts to share glimpses of a serene, rain-soaked getaway. While the two were careful not to post any pictures together, eagle-eyed fans quickly realized that they were vacationing in the exact same spot reportedly a cosy Airbnb retreat in Panshet, near Pune.  

The clues were straight out of a rom-com. Harshvardhan shared a picturesque photo dump of himself enjoying a monsoon retreat. We saw him making tea on a portable stove and cooking eggs. Shortly after, Sanjeeda dropped her own vacation snaps.  

The internet detectives went to work and noticed some undeniable overlaps:

• The Second Cup: Sanjeeda posted a photo of herself enjoying a hot brew with a second cup visibly resting on the table.  

• The Pan and Stove: One of Sanjeeda's pictures featured someone making an omelette on a portable gas stove and pan that looked strikingly identical to the setup in Harshvardhan's post.  

• The Background: The lush green balcony and beige wooden table in both sets of photos were a dead giveaway that they were chilling at the exact same cabin.  

Fans Play Cupid

Naturally, the comment sections on both their posts absolutely blew up. Fans were quick to connect the dots, calling the simultaneous uploads a subtle "soft launch" of their relationship.  

On Harshvardhan’s post, one user cheekily asked, "Who’s the second teacup for?" while another quickly replied, "It's for Sanjeeda." Over on Sanjeeda's page, fans celebrated the potential pairing, with comments like, "Finally it’s confirmed, she is the girl!" and "Sanam Teri Kasam 2... Harshvardhan is also there."  

A History of Jungle Safaris and On-Screen Chemistry

If this all feels a little familiar, it’s because this isn’t the first time the duo has sparked dating speculations. Back in June 2023, fans spotted similar overlaps when both actors posted photos from a jungle safari in Gujarat's Gir Forest. Though they didn't post each other, the identical backgrounds and matching safari jeeps had everyone talking.  

The two originally crossed paths professionally while shooting for Bejoy Nambiar’s 2020 revenge drama Taish and reunited in 2021 for the thriller Kun Faya Kun. Since Sanjeeda's divorce from actor Aamir Ali in 2021, the actress has kept her personal life fiercely private, focusing heavily on her career and raising her daughter, Ayra.  

While neither Harshvardhan nor Sanjeeda has officially confirmed or denied the romance, they certainly aren't trying too hard to hide it either.
