In a shocking and heartbreaking development, Punjabi social media influencer Kamal Kaur, whose real name was Kanchan Kumari, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Adesh Medical University

Indian influencer Kirti Patel, with a staggering 1.3 million followers, was recently arrested in connection with a sensational honey-trapping and extortion case. What has shocked both investigators and the public is how she managed to evade arrest for nearly ten months despite a warrant being issued against her.

Kirti Patel, known for her glamorous lifestyle and massive social media following, was on the run after being accused of extorting over ₹2 crore from a builder in Gujarat. The case dates back to August 2023, when the victim alleged that he was trapped using intimate videos and photographs and subsequently blackmailed for money. Following a complaint, authorities had issued an arrest warrant, but Patel managed to disappear, leaving investigators baffled.

According to reports, Kirti used her influencer status and network to stay hidden. She frequently changed her location, avoided digital traces, and even altered her appearance. Despite being highly active on social media before the warrant, she completely disappeared from public view, sparking curiosity and speculation among her followers. Her evasion was so meticulously planned that she reportedly used multiple fake identities and took shelter in different cities, making it incredibly difficult for law enforcement to trace her.

Police sources revealed that it took consistent tracking of her contacts and social circle to finally zero in on her. She was ultimately arrested in a surprise operation in Indore, where she had been living under a new identity. Authorities were able to crack the case with the help of technical surveillance and information from her close aides.

This arrest is just the latest development in a growing trend of social media influencers being caught up in legal controversies. Kirti Patel’s case has once again raised concerns about the misuse of fame and influence for illegal activities. Her glamorous social media image starkly contrasts with the dark reality of the charges she faces.

Following her arrest, Patel is now in judicial custody, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are also probing the possibility of a larger racket and whether other individuals were involved in similar traps. As more details emerge, the case continues to spark discussions about the blurred lines between digital fame and real-world accountability.
