Sidharth Malhotra Backs Kiara Advani’s ‘Toxic’ Performance, Calls It ‘One of Your Bests’

Sidharth Malhotra has delivered a strong vote of confidence in Kiara Advani's upcoming performance in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, predicting that the film could showcase some of her best work yet.

After the trailer for the Yash-led film was released, Sidharth shared it on his Instagram Stories and singled out the work, effort and passion that had gone into the project.

“Going to be one of your bests Ki!!” he wrote while congratulating Kiara, director Geetu Mohandas, Yash and the wider Toxic team. He also said he was looking forward to the film's August 26 theatrical release.

The message arrives after Kiara became the subject of ugly online commentary over her intimate scenes with Yash in Tabaahi, a song released from the film in July. Why did ‘Tabaahi’ become controversial?

Tabaahi, featuring Yash and Kiara, was released on July 8 as part of the film's promotional campaign.
